    Responsibilities

    A Day in the Life

    As the Sr. Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project of our client based projects.  You will be responsible for making decisions, both large and small.

     

    In addition, you will act as a team lead providing direction, instructions and guidance to the project management team of individuals, for achieving a certain goal

    Qualifications

    The Basics

    • Total Years of Technical Experience: 8+
    • Position Specific Experience: 8+
    • Mentorship/Leads by Example Experience: 6+
    • Project/ Client Engagement/ Customer Facing Experience: 8+

     

    Project Management Aptitude

    • Provides strategic project oversight of tasks, deliverables and stakeholders
    • Ability to assist PMO in providing high level project reporting
    • Accountable for strategic management of complex projects (including large migrations) from kick off through final deliverable, coordinating various project elements.
    • Own development of deliverables working with key stakeholders
    • Deliberately manage project prioritization, calendar/scheduling, job routing, execution follow-up and final QA process.
    • Effectively plan, coordinate, track, and report to the client on project team progress.
    • Advanced customer facing skills and ability to navigate highly complex, political organizations.
    • Author content and lead project kick off meetings (travel may be required), while anticipating/ addressing customer questions.
    • Responsible for recurring client touchpoint meetings throughout project duration and knows when to adjust meeting frequency
    • Accountable for successful project transition upon completion
    • Monitor and track status for multiple, complex projects and report regularly in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to effectively identify and escalate potential issues before they materialize
    • Provide ownership of resource and project management including planning, assessment, assignment of projects, while monitoring progress, timelines, managing resources and customer satisfaction .
    • Establish deadlines taking contingency time into account. Assign responsibilities and move responsibilities when needed. When necessary, adjust deadlines and communicate prior to missing target date.
    • Advanced ability to utilize PMO metrics
