    A Day in the Life

    This role is responsible for all aspects of IT leadership and management for assigned customer base. The Client Technology Officer is responsible for the development of the customer technology roadmap and facilitating the management of all aspects of the customer relationship and interfaces between the customer and Synoptek.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Development of architectural design and support model, financial performance, operational performance and overall customer satisfaction.  You’ll proactively oversee the management of client systems and network infrastructure, while providing leadership and best practices to other team members. You’ll find yourself leading and delivering on interesting and complex projects, with many diverse and exciting clients

    This role will require a person with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships in a liaison capacity with IT personnel (both internal and external) at all levels.  We encourage you to learn and to use principles from ITIL and PMP, while working with your team to build and create best practices from your own personal experience and those of your peers.

    Consulting Aptitude

    • Manages $5K-40K MRR Customers
    • Accountable for $100K-350K MRR Revenue under management

    New Business Planning/ Support

    • Scope & price service to provide
    • Define unique requirement
    • Proposal approval
    • Capacity planning (support model)
    • Manage and set overall client expectations

    Management and oversight of customer onboarding

    • Assess business needs & overall IT environment
    • Manage and advise IT gaps, risks and issues
    • Develop IT strategy & roadmap
    • Oversight of service transition to Synoptek

    IT Governance

    • Reviews client's IT maturity against Best Practices
    • Conduct routine Technology Business Review Meetings (TBR)
    • Monitor client service delivery and customer needs
    • Manage client and service delivery & serve as escalation point
    • Enable client to leverage technology to grow business
    • Project Portfolio Management & Reporting
    • Advise on IT capabilities and service levels
    • Accountable to customer for IT Operations Management
    • Oversight and monitor overall performance metrics:
      • Satisfaction and retention
      • Service level compliance
      • Profitability

    Education, Certifications & More
