To be great in this role, you will need to use your mad recruiting skills to work closely with hiring managers to define position requirements, utilize the best media forums to get the word out, network with passive candidates, and create a robust long-term sourcing strategy that will attract the best and brightest. This is a fast-paced role in a small team responsible for recruiting in each department and with multiple hiring managers throughout our organization. This role requires that you juggle and prioritize daily.
This is primarily an internal facing role with the vast majority of positions being filled by Synoptek for Synoptek in any one of our multiple locations. While hiring can happen in any state at any time, we recruit and fulfill in core markets. We are a highly ranked IT Managed Services Provider, and we are looking for the best and the brightest in our industry. Candidates best suited to this position will have a professional history of IT/tech recruiting in an environment where you’ve been responsible for juggling greater than 10 requisitions at any one time.
Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate internet research and hunting skills. The best candidates will have a proven reputation for being exceptional hunters, be organized, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time and demonstrate push-back and a sense of urgency when needed.
Your primary responsibility will be to help initiate, fulfill and close the hiring process by identifying and screening qualified candidates for employment opportunities and following through on each requisition until filled. We are a highly ranked IT Managed Services Provider, thus most of the roles recruited will be technical in nature (Service Desk Agent, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Web Developer, NOC Analyst, Etc.). We need someone willing to roll with the punches, take a lot of ownership over their personal success and come in ready to rock Synoptek’s recruiting world.
