    Responsibilities

    A Day in the Life

    The Business Process Monitoring Engineer is part of the larger Synoptek Managed Services Operations Front Line Support Team.  They are responsible for the monitoring of our customer’s business processes, in addition to the remediation and/or escalation of any incidents that occur.

    The Basics

     

    • Total Years of Technical Experience: 1+
    • Position Specific Experience: 6 months+
    • Mentorship/Leads by Example Experience: 0
    • Project/ Client Engagement/ Customer Facing Experience: 6 months+

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in Information Technology
    • Basic understanding of network troubleshooting – TCP/IP, SNMP, PING
    • Basic understanding of server systems (Windows server OS, Terminal services, DNS, DHCP)
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft Applications – MS Windows Server, MS Office, MS Exchange
    • Basic internetworking skills – MPLS, Wireless, LAN, WAN
    • Experience with vendor escalation management
    • Basic ticketing system knowledge
    • Strong customer service background and ability to work in a team environment
