    A Day in the Life 

    This role will deal with all aspects related to the maintenance, repair and support of network and security products. The Support Operations Lead will act in as a lead supporting west cost network operations to ensure quality services are provided to both internal and external clients. This will require that you serve as a mentor and leader for others in the organization and work to continually improve processes and practices at all time.  Duties include queue management, resource allocation, on-call scheduling, recurring customer-facing meetings, escalation management, direct HR responsibilities, standard change review and approval, and major incident management.

    Product Technical Knowledge

    • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
    • Provides direction to project teams including assignment of individual responsibilities, tasks and technical functions, evaluates and mentors staff.
    • Experience supporting access technologies such as LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS
    • Proven understanding of industry standards regarding virtualized networking and security best practices
    • Experience managing Firewall/security devices (access control list (ACL) management, secure remote management practices, IDS, etc
    • Experience providing recommendations for new network hardware to meet specific requirements
    • Experience working with vendors in an introductory support role
    • Proven Experience troubleshooting network technologies
    • Comprehensive knowledge of manged services & multi-tenant support environments
    • Manageing enterprise and dedicated customer network environments
    • Experience managing industry leading cloud provider platforms: Vcloud, Azure, AWS, etc.
    • Proven understanding of how application data flows ovr the network (firm foundation of OSI model)

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent with 6+ years related experience and/or acceptable combination of education and experience.
    • Must have one or more industry certifications within specialization, i.e. virtualization, storage, etc.


    2 or more of: CCNA (Any flavor), CCNA Data center, A++, NETWORK+
