    The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing strategies to increase market share while management of the company’s brand across all elements of the business. The Director of Marketing is also responsible for the design and execution of targeted customer acquisition programs that are measured by revenue and ROI. This individual will lead cross-functional teams of marketing and sales professionals, defining a strategy, managing a budget, continually assessing performance & driving real-time change when needed.


    The ideal candidate should have a business background and exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present complex ideas and solutions clearly. An ability to manage be hands on when required, meet tight deadlines, multi-task and work with C-level executives.


    Serve as Manager and a team-lead towards the development and execution of marketing plans and goals with focus on:


    • Strategies for branding, segmentation, buyer persona, customer buying criteria, market positioning, differentiation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, promotions, event management, revenue retention, budget management and growth
    • Oversight of a core team addressing : Target Vertical Campaigns, Lead Generation, Inside Sales Management, Training, Event Development & Management (Webinars, Seminars, Trade Shows), Social Media, Advertising, Video Production, Thought Leadership (White Papers, Blogs, Webinars etc) Production, Promotion, Internal/ External Communications (News Letters, business unit communications), Press Releases, Case Study development, Marketing Materials creation/ fulfillment, common sales materials and communications.
    • Maintaining acceptable department KPIs and on time reporting as established by management.

    The most competitive candidate will possess:

    • At least 7- 10 years of experience in marketing of a service-based enterprise.
    • The applicant should have held no less than three years in a Direct level position, managing a team of people as well as a P&L.
    • MBA (preferred)
    • Strong understanding of market and customer segmentation frameworks and hands-on experience with projects required. Ability to switch between technical and business benefit-level discussion.
    • Be bottom-line oriented, budget-conscious, and metric/measurement driven.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Excellent creativity and the ability to create innovative solutions for non-traditional situations.
    • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles supporting sales.
    • Results oriented, entrepreneurial attitude.
    • Strategic in nature but analytical and detail-oriented.
    • Capable of working independently but reaching objectives through influencing and collaboration.
    • A good facilitator, seasoned in active listening techniques.
    • Have a high level of energy as well as strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrate the ability to gain trust, negotiate business objectives, and work directly with a broad group of senior managers.
